What would you do with your life if money wasn’t an issue?
At Paper Money Co, I teach women how to build their dream lives by taking control of their finances. I’ve found that so many women are constantly worrying about money. That’s why I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and teaching them how to manage their finances and grow their wealth so they can stop worrying and start living their lives with financial freedom.
If you’re ready to stop worrying about money and start living the life you want, then you’re in the right place. Because I’m guessing that, just like me, you want your life to be more than just working to pay the bills.
It’s not enough for you to put your life on hold until “someday” when you have the money or you eventually retire. You want to enjoy your life now, but also build a financially secure debt-free future.
You crave the freedom to make choices because you want to, not because you need the money. What you truly want for your life is freedom.
I know how you feel.
But maybe you don’t know where to start on your journey towards financial freedom
- “bad with money” and you don’t know how to manage your finances or grow your wealth;
- constantly worrying about money and having to tell yourself that you “can’t afford” the life you want to live;
- putting your life on hold until ‘someday’ when you retire and you have the money and time to do whatever you want;
- struggling to save money, living paycheque to paycheque and drowning in debt;
- existing just to go to work so you can pay the bills.
Just like you, I’m on a journey to achieve financial freedom, which is why I started Paper Money Co. I found myself spending most of my life stuck in jobs I didn’t enjoy.
I was miserable, depressed and feeling hopeless. It weighed on my own mental health and drained my marriage. I wasn’t living my life – I just existed to pay the bills. But I wanted to make a different choice and live the life I kept daydreaming about. So, I rolled up my sleeves and decided to change my life.
Then I created Paper Money Co
I created Paper Money Co to document my own journey towards living the life of my dreams. My triumphs, my struggles and everything I learn along the way will be shared on my blog.
But I’m also passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise as an accountant with other women. Because they don’t teach us how to do this in schools
As I work towards a financially free future for myself, I also hope to empower and educate other women on their own financial journeys. Because money may not buy you happiness, but it does buy almost everything else – including options and financial freedom.

Who is this random girl on the internet and what does she know about money?
Well, a lot, actually. I’ve had quite a bit of success in my own journey towards financial freedom.
There are 2 main reasons for my success so far:
- I’ve literally been learning to manage my own personal finances since I was a child; and
- I’m a professional Chartered Accountant.
Yep, I’m an accounting and finance nerd complete with glasses, comfy cardigans and crazy spreadsheets. I’ve been studying and working in the finance and accounting field for more than 10 years. Throughout that time, I’ve helped many million-dollar and billion-dollar companies manage their finances.
I apply the things I learn to my own budget and finances. And I absolutely love my budget (and also chocolate). But be warned – you won’t find any sugar-coating here, so prepare yourself for some tough love!
But there’s something else I want you to know about me besides the fact that I’m a professional accountant – I’m also a person. I know that your life isn’t easy. I myself have struggled with depression, anxiety and a chronic heart condition for years. I’m a hard worker and I’m good at what I do but I don’t want to wait until retirement to live my life.
To me, financial freedom means being in complete control of my time and how I spend it – which will include a lot of travelling, writing and baking. Because time is the most finite resource any of us will ever have. No amount of money or wishing will buy you a second of more time. And just to lighten the mood, I also have a somewhat problematic addiction to stationery, candles and body care products.
